Common dolphin annual distribution
A new layer showing the annual distribution of the common dolphin has been added under MAMMALS.

Bladder Kelp and Patagonian Toothfish QMA's
Both of these species have been introduced to the QMS for 1 October 2010 (Note: not all states of Bladder kelp were added to the QMS - just 'attached' Bladder kelp).
All the QMAs are loaded under MANAGEMENT>Fisheries Administration>QMAs. You can also find them under SPECIES INFORMATION.

New Bylaws for Mt Maunganui and Part Tauranga Harbour Mataitai Reserve
A new mussel catch bylaw has been gazetted for the Mt Maunganui and Park Tauranga Harbour Mataitai Reserve.
View the bylaw by using the either the DATA VIEW or WHAT'S HERE tool with the Mataitai layer.

Changes to Rohe Moana
Changes to gazetted Kataitaki for multiple Rohe Moana and and amendement of the boundary for Te Uri O Hau (the boundary on the east of the North Island has been revoked).

S186 Temporary Closures Renewed
The Kaikoura-Wakatu Quay and Umupuia Beach S186 closures have been renewed.
