- UPDATED - added 20 existing layers to the Aquaculture heading

- UPDATED Official placenames layers - added dataview and change colour option
- UPDATED Maui and Hector's Dolphin Strandings - strandings updated to the end of October
- UPDATED Species Breeding Distribution layers - 31 Bird Breeding Distributions
17 New Layers Added to NABIS
17 new layers have been added to NABIS under the Aqauculture heading. Where appropriate some of these layers have also been added elsewhere in the layer tree.
The new layers are:
Marlborough significant conservation value areas
Natural ecosystems
Marlborough significant marine sites
Outstanding natural features and lansscapes in the Waikato region
DoC conservation land
MEC Wave energy (mean orbital velocity)
Biogenic habitats
Commercial anchor berthing points
Dredged areas
Dumping grounds
Wreck points
Harbour facility points
Commercial mooring/warping facilities
Marine habitat map of New Zealand bioregions
Marine habitat map of Northland
MEC surface freshwater fraction
MEC tidal currents
20 Existing NABIS Layers Added to the Aquaculture Category
20 layers that were already available on NABIS have been added under the Aquaculture heading in the layer tree.
Rohe Moana Boundaries and Coordinates
The Rohe Moana layers have been updated with the latest Kaitiaki changes.
Invertebrate Annual Distributions
Updates have been made to the annual distribution layers for 6 invertebrates. The species included are Spiny red rock lobster, Toheroa, Pacific oyster, Black coral, Scampi and Southern arrow squid.
Official Placenames
The 5 official place names layers have now had the dataview and change colour options added.
Seabird Breeding Sites
Updates have been made to the seabird breeding sites layers for 31 seabird species.
Maui and Hector's Dolphin Strandings
2 new strandings have been added. This layer is now up to date as at the 31st of October 2011.
